I was obese my entire life — then I flipped it all around in a single year.

Where I Started
Nutrition never made sense to me growing up. You can't count calories on a shared table of five dishes cooked in oil you can't measure. And in our house, you cleaned your plate or it was a waste — so I ate everything, every time. I was always tired, always cranky, and never knew the two were connected.
I lifted weights since high school but saw nothing for years. All I had to show for it was an injury and hundreds of dollars wasted on a gym membership, because nobody ever taught me how to train properly.
The Turning Point
Then it clicked. I lost 60 pounds in a year and got the strongest I'd ever been.

And the scale was the least of it. The knee, neck, and back pain I'd carried for years — gone. My ankles stopped rolling. I had real energy, and for the first time I could move. Sports got easier and actually fun. Even the food guilt disappeared — I still eat what I grew up with, I just finally understand it.
